<p><strong>Lead Licensing Officer needed in Bideford Paying  £36.10 per hr ref 5298255</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p> Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Deliver licensing functions in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.</li> <li>Act as the lead officer within the Licensing Team, providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues.</li> <li>Attend and contribute to internal Licensing Team meetings.</li> <li>Keep up to date with licensing legislation and policy developments.</li> <li>Draft and review licensing policies for renewal and present reports to the Licensing Committee.</li> <li>Respond to routine enquiries and complaints relating to the licensing service.</li> <li>Process applications across the full range of licensing functions.</li> <li>Carry out inspections of licensed premises and investigate cases of non-compliance.</li> <li>Take enforcement action where necessary and appropriate.</li> <li>Prepare detailed reports and present cases at Licensing Sub-Committee hearings.</li> </ul> <p> </p> </li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
