Job Posting — Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician | Remote (U.S.) | $20/hr (W2)
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician to support a high-volume prior authorization call queue. This is a remote role (candidates may be located anywhere in the U.S.) but must be able to work Central Time (CST) hours.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hr (W2)
- Type: Temporary (40 hours/week)
- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Training (mandatory): 07/13/2026 – 08/31/2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST

- No time off permitted during training
- Post-training schedule: Standard 8.5-hour workday (final schedule assigned based on business needs)
What You’ll Do
- Take inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, members, etc. to support the criteria-based prior authorization process
- Provide professional, courteous phone support and customer service
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation
- Escalate clinical questions/judgment calls to the pharmacist team
Requirements (Remote Work Readiness)
You must be able to support a compliant work-from-home environment, including:
- A HIPAA-compliant workspace (separate area, away from distractions/interruptions)
- Wired internet meeting at least 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload
- Ability to sit and stay focused for the full shift without interruptions
