About the Role
Immediately Seeking! Mechanical Technician Monday-Friday 1st Shift: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm 3rd Shift: 6:00 pm – 4:00 am Pay: DOE Duties include but are not limited to: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime Diagnose and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, motors, bearings, and other rotating equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Replace and rebuild mechanical components including bearings, seals, shafts, couplings, and valves Perform equipment alignment using precision measuring tools Complete welding, fabrication, and minor machining repairs as needed Inspect equipment for wear, vibration, and performance issues Work closely with maintenance and production teams to resolve mechanical issues Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Qualifications: Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical power transmission systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Ability to use precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in an industrial environment Why work for Advance Services, Inc.
