This is an excellent opportunity for a practice professional looking to take on a varied role that combines client management, technical accounting work, and team leadership within a supportive and professional environment. The Role: As Accounts Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, overseeing the preparation of accounts and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. You will work closely with senior leadership while also supporting and mentoring junior team members. Your Key Responsibilities as Accounts Manager: Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact  Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts  Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team  Supporting clients with accounting, tax, and business advisory matters  Ensuring work is delivered efficiently and in line with deadlines  Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value To be considered for this Accounts Manager position, you will have/be: ACA or ACCA qualified  Previous experience within a UK chartered accountancy practice  Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and compliance  Excellent communication and client management skills  Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines If you are an experienced practice professional looking for your next challenge, please click Apply to submit your CV and find out more about this opportunity with Sheridan Maine.
