Job Description
As the General Manager you will,
- Ensure the team is supported and developed to meet the growing demands on the site, and create a high performing culture
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Work with central teams to manage inventory ,and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with business objectives
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within logistics operations.
- Embed a CI approach to evaluate opportunities on site (flow / layout, cost benefit of further automation, org structure & resource allocation)
The Successful Applicant
A successful General Manager (GM) should have:
- Proven background in supporting high volume logistics operations with a need for compliance and pick accuracy
- Proven leadership skills and enable to demonstrate how engagement is built and sustained
- A solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A commitment to achieving operational excellence and CI
