<p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>About the Role:</strong></span><br /> We are seeking an organised, proactive Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a major social housing roofing replacement programme across Nottingham. This will include re roofing, felt, slate, tiled, flat and pitcjed roofing. Working with a leading Tier 1 maintenance contractor, you will help ensure this multi-year programme is delivered safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. <br />This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up, gain large-programme experience, and work within a well-structured and supportive delivery team.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Key Responsibilities</span>:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations across occupied and void social housing properties</li>
<li>Support the coordination of trades, subcontractors, materials, and programme schedules</li>
<li>Carry out daily site inspections to ensure work meets quality and compliance standards</li>
<li>Maintain high levels of resident communication and customer care</li>
<li>Ensure all works adhere to health & safety policies, RAMS, and industry regulations</li>
<li>Support progress reporting, site documentation, and updates to internal teams and the client</li>
<li>Help manage access arrangements, surveys, snagging, and sign-off processes</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in social housing planned works or maintenance (roofing experience desirable)</li>
<li>Strong organisational and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work with residents in occupied homes professionally and respectfully</li>
<li>Understanding of site compliance, H&S, and quality standards</li>
<li>SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, or equivalent qualifications preferred</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence</li>
