Director Corporate Affairs

Our client is the parent company of a family owned large number of Dutch and non-Dutch operating companies. The group is active in the television, media, entertainment, digital and lifestyle industry. It has substantial broadcasting activities in Central & South East Europe also extending into North America and Australia and continuously works on expanding its activities organically and through acquisitions. The group was founded in the late 80’s and ever since, with a dedicated investment team based in London, has built a portfolio of media and digital operations in the world. seasoned professional, sparring partner

In this role you are responsible for all Dutch legal, tax and corporate matters. Some 30 companies are operational in the Netherlands and require statutory and annual obligations to be met. You have frequent interaction with international legal and tax colleagues within the group and with external advisors and other service providers. You are contact person for local authorities. You are director of all Dutch entities and work closely with management and supervisory board.

Profiel

• preferably a Dutch degree in law or tax
• substantial working experience in the legal discipline
• gained as (inhouse) lawyer, tax professional, corporate secretary or at a trust office
• good knowledge of broad Dutch company law and governance requirements
• seniority to act as statutory director and besparring partner at director level
