Your responsibilities
- Lead and manage the LNG trading desk, including strategy development and day to day trading activities, with a strong focus on short term markets (year +1).
- Identify market opportunities and execute profitable trading strategies.
- Oversee and optimize the utilization of regasification terminals across Europe.
- Proactively develop, strengthen, and expand relationships with LNG trading counterparties.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key market participants.
- Ensure traded volumes remain within approved risk limits while delivering profitable outcomes for the company.
- Promote a strong understanding of, and adherence to, all relevant Risk and Compliance policies as well as the company’s Code of Conduct.
- Lead an international team of highly skilled LNG Traders and Support Managers.
- Develop, empower, and mentor team members to support their professional growth and performance.
Your profile
- Strong leadership and decision making skills
- At least 5 years of experience in LNG trading and origination
- An understanding of the supply & demand fundamentals of LNG markets
- Commercial thinking (spot opportunities and take risks with the aim to create value)
- Team Player with excellent communication and negotiation skills and highly analytical mindset
