About the Role
Overview The Dome is seeking hardworking and reliable Barbacks to support our bartending team and ensure seamless bar operations. This behind-the-scenes role is critical in maintaining efficiency, keeping the bar stocked, and delivering an exceptional guest experience at our high-energy venue. This role will pay an hourly wage of $8.00 and is tip eligible. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until July 31, 2026. Responsibilities Stocking & Restocking: Keep the bar fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and garnishes throughout each event. Bar Setup & Breakdown: Assist with preparing the bar before service, replenishing supplies, and cleaning the bar area at the end of shifts. Support Bartenders: Quickly respond to bartender requests, such as fetching ingredients, replacing kegs, and disposing of empty bottles. Glassware & Trash Management: Collect and wash glassware, clear empty cups from the bar area, and remove trash and recycling as needed. Keg Handling: Safely change beer kegs and maintain draft line cleanliness to ensure high-quality beverage service. Guest Interaction: Occasionally assist guests with basic requests, such as retrieving napkins or directing them to bartenders for service. Compliance & Safety: Follow all venue policies, health codes, and responsible alcohol service guidelines to maintain a clean and safe bar environment. Qualifications Experience: Prior barback or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential. Skills: Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and a sense of urgency to keep up with high-demand events. Attributes: Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to lift heavy items (e.g., kegs, cases of liquor). Certifications: Must meet any state or local alcohol service requirements, if applicable. Availability: Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in alignment with The Dome’s event schedule.
