About the role:
Justteachers are looking for a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to support a secondary school in Trafford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with set work while promoting a calm, safe and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons using work provided by teaching staff.
- Encourage positive behaviour and uphold school expectations.
- Maintain a safe, organised and inclusive classroom environment.
- Record attendance and report any concerns to relevant staff members.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
Pre-requisites:
- Experience working with young people is desirable.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Confident working with secondary-aged students.
- Adaptable, professional, and enthusiastic approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
