The Role
Overhauls and repairs gantries and portal cranes and other types of heavy duty mobile equipment, such as bulldozers, mobile cranes, locomotives, tractors, graders, powershovels and diesel-powered trucks, buses and materials-handling equipment. Disassembles diesel or gasoline engines as necessary; and inspects repairs, and replaces such parts as injection valves, cylinder heads and crankshafts. Repairs clutches, transmission systems, differentials, air compressors, pumps, filter units, superchargers, starting engines, timers, generators, governors, reduction gears, hydraulic couplings, breaking systems, steering system, cooling systems, electrical systems, and similar units.
Must Have
Applicant must have 3 or more years experience diagnosing and repairing all types of gantries and portal cranes, gasoline and diesel related systems and engines.
Nice to Have
Five (5) years crane repair experience diagnosing and repairing all types of gasoline and diesel related systems and engines.
