Teacher of Science - Permanent Role High Wycombe | Start Date: September 2026 | Full-Time Quantum Scholars are working with a welcoming and highly supportive secondary school in High Wycombe to recruit a passionate Teacher of Science for a permanent, full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Science teacher who is eager to make a positive impact within a thriving school community. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential. The school is looking for a teacher who demonstrates high professional standards, strong subject knowledge, and confidence in using a variety of teaching and learning strategies. The Science department is particularly well established and benefits from: 9 fully equipped laboratories Strong departmental leadership Excellent resources and collaborative support Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development Uphold strong behaviour management standards Participate in school meetings, parents' evenings, and wider school activities Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting Strong knowledge across Science disciplines Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills A passion for high-quality teaching and learning Strong communication and organisational abilities An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Availability to start in September 2026 Full Right to Work in the UK Interested?
