Role Description
The Process Improvement Engineer is responsible for introducing new processes and supporting product transfers into manufacturing. The role focuses on improving technical and business processes through Lean Six Sigma, change management, and data driven decision making. This position requires a high level of independence and strong cross functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Introduce new processes and support product transfer activities
- Develop and transfer knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and change management practices
- Lead or participate in cross functional investigations into deviations and process issues
- Define and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize process improvement opportunities
- Initiate and coordinate improvements in technical and business processes, systems, and behaviors
- Lead improvement projects and facilitate kaizen initiatives
- Coach project sponsors and improvement practitioners
- Support a strong data driven decision making culture
Requirements
- Experience in process improvement or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Six Sigma
- Experience with change management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to lead projects and cross functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
