About the Role
A global asset management firm is seeking to hire an Investment Specialist to join the Global Equities investment team. This role will support the Portfolio Managers and act as a conduit between the investment team and sales/client group.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of global equity strategies and articulate the investment process, portfolio performance and market trends to clients and prospects
Portfolio analysis relating to portfolio positioning, interpreting performance and attribution data
Direct client interaction and act as a primary contact for clients on investment related queries thus needing in depth knowledge of financial markets
Involved in the production of detailed investment related marketing materials
Collaborate with internal stakeholders building strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, Sales and Marketing team
Developing and promoting strategies both internally and externally
Candidate Requirements:
Relevant work experience in an investment/product specialist, investment analyst or similar role
Strong interest in equity investing and macroeconomics
Knowledge of global equity securities/portfolios
Excellent academic credentials
Completed or working towards CFA qualification
Ability to present and communicate with key stakeholders within the business
Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of self-awareness
Hard-working and energetic individual
