<div> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Our expanding Financial Technology organization is in need of a precise and meticulous Accounting Manager to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals, and the ability to excel in a dynamic work environment. This role will primarily involve month-end responsibilities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis, and will involve frequent collaboration with leadership. Already established in the UK, we are currently in the process of securing office space for our US Headquarters in Alpharetta. This may take up to six months, during which time this position will be fully remote. Once the office is operational, this role will transition to a hybrid model with remote work on Fridays.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Responsibilities:</p> <ol style="margin-top: 0in" start="1" type="1"> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Month-End Procedures</strong>: Execute all necessary tasks to close out the month accurately and efficiently.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Bookkeeping Entries</strong>: Prepare and input journal entries, such as accruals, adjustments, and corrections, to maintain the accuracy of financial records.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Balance Sheet Reconciliation</strong>: Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Financial Reporting</strong>: Aid in producing monthly financial statements, offering variance analysis and explanations for significant changes.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Accruals and Prepayments</strong>: Calculate and record accruals and prepayments to accurately reflect the company&#8217;s financial status at month-end.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Intercompany Dealings</strong>: Reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions, ensuring proper elimination and consolidation.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Financial Analysis</strong>: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and identify process enhancement opportunities.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Regulatory Compliance</strong>: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Audit Assistance</strong>: Aid in fulfilling internal and external audit inquiries, providing necessary documentation and explanations.</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>Process Enhancement</strong>: Identify ways to streamline month-end processes and enhance efficiency.</li> </ol> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Requirements </p> <ul style="margin-top: 0in" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting or Finance. </li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in"><strong>CPA preferred with 5+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting.</strong></li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Experience in high-growth startup environments is advantageous. </li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite (preferred), QuickBooks, Oracle). </li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Solid understanding of US GAAP, FRS102, and IFRS principles as well as financial reporting. </li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. </li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial. </li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks. </li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in">Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential. </li> </ul> <p class="MsoNormal"> </div>
