Purpose
Responsible for leading all phases of project management across the full project lifecycle to build strong customer partnerships, deliver contracted scope, and maximize revenue and client satisfaction. Partners with Estimating, Business Development, Design, Production, Finance, and Administration to ensure accurate, timely communication and successful project execution while promoting repeat business and long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
- Receives general instruction on key objectives for execution; applies advanced project management techniques and principles to complex assignments with competing priorities.
- Exercises sound professional judgment; work is reviewed periodically by senior leadership for alignment with business objectives.
- May review work produced by junior project staff to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to procedures.
- Cultivates strong, trust-based client relationships by positioning the company as a trusted advisor.
- Promotes a customer-centric mindset, consistently exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
At the Operational and Company Level
- Maintains proactive and regular client engagement, providing weekly updates or more frequent communication as required by contract or client preference.
- Conducts direct verbal and/or face-to-face discussions with clients regarding project schedules, deliverables, risks, and status.
- Supports business development efforts by providing timely and accurate project status updates to Business Development teams.
- Participates in proposal development by supporting Scope of Services creation, attending client meetings, and participating in conferences and industry events as needed.
- Shares responsibility for revenue growth through repeat business and ongoing client relationships.
- Ensures alignment between client expectations, project execution, and internal resources.
Do the Work
- Develops comprehensive project Scope of Work and project plans, defining key milestones, deliverables, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Allocates resources and equips production teams with all necessary materials, information, and direction to support timely execution.
- Coordinates project kickoff meetings and tracks follow-up actions to ensure accountability and alignment.
- Monitors progress across all production departments, documenting milestones, decisions, and communications in accordance with ISO and Project Management procedures.
- Reviews and approves deliverables, including digital image color samples and other client-facing products, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Provides financial oversight by reviewing project costs against estimates, preparing invoices with client-specific notes, and managing Work in Progress (WIP) relief.
- Identifies issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement and takes proactive corrective action.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, Business, Project Management, Quality, or a related field; or a combination of education and extensive relevant experience.
- Eight or more (8+) years of progressive experience in project management, operations, or delivery leadership within the applicable industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects across the full project lifecycle
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project tracking/reporting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing schedules, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills with a focus on quality, margin, and client satisfaction.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Working knowledge of ISO processes and quality management systems.
- Experience leading client-facing meetings, executive briefings, and formal presentations.
- Demonstrated business development or client account growth experience.

Salary and eligible variable compensation (if any) commensurate with experience. Range $220k - $250k and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
