It remained comfortable, but after about 1 year and 2 months, the wheel broke off. Like not came unscrewed, but broke off, so it cannot be reattached. That made the chair useless. I am not even 300lbs, and it broke. I used the chair for work. I have a bad back and the support of this chair really helped me. Just very disappointed that for almost $150 it didn’t last but a year.UPDATE: I contacted customer service just to see if I could buy a new base. They were super helpful and helped me buy just the wheel base. It was only the wheel base that broke. So I am very happy that they had such great customer service and helped me out. I bought this for my office for every day use.The “leather” is a little thin, but it should last a couple years. The seat has a firm memory foam and is comfortable to sit on all day. The recliner is nice.I’m 6’2” and the chair is just about at the limit for someone my size. When the seat is fully extended as high as it will go, my legs feel comfortable. The adjustable arm rests are great and at the perfect height for me.I’m satisfied for what I paid. A similar chair at Office Depot or similar would cost triple. The arm rests are uncomfortable just because of how far out to the sides they are. The lumbar support, while comfortable itself, makes me have to sit more forward on the chair which makes my legs about half way off the chair. The head rest is more of a upper back rest… Short story, if you’re on the skinnier and taller side you probably wont like this chair although it was easy to assemble and the parts seem sturdy. The plastic shields for covering the screws on the recline mechanism seems kinda flimsy at first but once secured it seems sturdy. Reviewer: Violent Felon Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars Title: Seems like a nice chair, but… Review: So i’ve had this for almost a month, its a nice chair for work, but the angle adjuster has broken already, it basically controls the recline of the chair, well its broken inside and the chair is now useless to use as it wont lock into place causing the chair to always be fully reclined unless you back it against a wall, then if you lean back, due to the rollers it just shoots you forward and reclines you, funny after the fact, but dangerous. I’m trying to just get that part and replace it myself, but im waiting to hear back on if i have to return the whole chair or not, something thats going to be a pain to do. Might just be a defective part, if its a problem id suggest staying away as the hassle of a possible broken chair might be to much of an issue for you when you have to take the thing to UPS and return it.UPDATE 9/30So the companies customer service is top notch. They will be sending out the new part to replace this week, so had to change to 3 Stars until i find out how the product holds up with the replacement part. Will update again after a month or so if it works out. Reviewer: lauren peters Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Title: Bang for the buck Review: I am over 300lbs and am 6’1 this chair is not made for big guys i can tell you that but after a few months of using it and getting it broke in it has actually become very comfortable and so far has held up very sturdily the actual only complaint i have with this chair is how cheap the casters feel. All in all this chair gives a ton of bang for the buck. On my days off work i game 8-12hrs a day and have little to no discomfort.
