A well-established law firm in Greenwich is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join its growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused IT professional to support a busy legal environment, providing high-quality technical support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-line IT support to users across the firm, both remotely and on-site
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and system issues in a timely manner
- Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, phones and peripherals
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows environments and standard business applications
- Assist with user account administration, onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support meeting room and conferencing technology, including AV equipment
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers and support logs
- Liaise with third-party IT providers and suppliers to resolve technical issues
- Assist with system upgrades, technology rollouts and continuous service improvements
- Support IT security initiatives, patching and compliance requirements
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an IT support or service desk role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365
- Good understanding of networking, hardware and troubleshooting principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
Desirable
- Experience within a legal or professional services environment
- Exposure to ITIL or structured IT service management processes
- Knowledge of Cyber Essentials or IT security best practices
