Part Time Accounts Assistant

​Sharp Consultancy are looking for a reliable and detail focused Temporary Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business in Shipley. You will support the finance function during a busy period. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, confident with numbers, and experienced in basic accounting processes. ​ Key Responsibilities Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accurate records Assisting with sales invoices and credit control Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts Supporting month end processes Responding to finance queries via email and phone General administrative tasks to support the Finance Department We’d love to hear from you if you have: Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role Good knowledge of Sage accounting software Intermediate excel skills (formulas, v-look ups and pivot tables) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude Ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines What We Offer Flexible working pattern (to suit 20 hours per week) Supportive and friendly team Opportunity to gain experience in a busy finance environment ​ This is a temporary role which may become permanent in the future ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Sharp Consultancy is a finance and accountancy recruitment specialist assisting accounting and finance divisions of businesses in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area.
