SITE OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to join our client at their chemical plant located just outside Heysham. An excellent opportunity has become available to join a multinational chemical specialist offering a technically diverse workload & further progression opportunities. This is a fully autonomous role where you will be responsible for the overall operation of the plant, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations, and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the production team. Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the chemical plant, ensuring all processes are running safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. Lead and manage a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Ensure all safety, quality, and environmental requirements are met, and responsible for driving improvements wherever possible. Full P&L and budget control for the plant Work with the commercial team to ensure customer needs are met, and orders are fulfilled on time and to specification. Responsible for implementing training and recruitment plans for the entire manufacturing plant. Person: Operations Manager / Site Manager Previous experience working on a COMAH site Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
