About the Role
<p><strong>Role:</strong> Groundworker <br /><strong>Location:</strong> OX18 <br /><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> £17.38 per hour PAYE </p>
<p>We are recruiting for Groundworkers to work on a project in OX18. This role would suit candidates who are experienced in general groundworks, confident working on a busy construction site, and able to carry out a range of practical site duties safely and efficiently. </p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for dependable and hard-working operatives looking for an immediate or upcoming start, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidates. </p>
<p>The Role: <br />As a Groundworker, you will be involved in a range of site-based tasks to support the successful delivery of the project. You will be expected to work as part of the wider site team and carry out groundwork duties to a high standard while following all site health and safety procedures. You should be comfortable working outdoors, carrying out physical work, and assisting with general site operations where required. </p>
<p><strong>Duties Will Include:</strong> <br />Carrying out general groundworks <br />Excavation works <br />Kerb laying / kerb works <br />Assisting with site preparation and clearance <br />Supporting general labouring duties where required <br />Working around plant and machinery safely <br />Assisting with banksman duties if required <br />Carrying out fire watch duties where needed <br />Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment <br />Following all site health and safety regulations at all times <br />Requirements </p>
<p><strong>To be considered for this role, you must have:</strong> <br />Previous experience working as a Groundworker <br />Valid CSCS Card <br />Good understanding of construction site health and safety <br />Ability to carry out physical site work safely and effectively <br />Reliable and punctual approach to work <br />Ability to work well as part of a team <br />Desirable / Advantageous </p>
<p><strong>The following would be beneficial, but are not essential:</strong> <br />Digger ticket <br />Dumper ticket <br />CAT & Genny ticket <br />Previous experience on secure or regulated sites <br />Ability to meet site security clearance requirements <br />Full UK Driving Licence <br />Ideal Candidate </p>
