Come Join an Inclusive Team We are looking for someone who has the ambition to contribute to LYB’s continuous improvement strategy and ensure LYB can meet the increasing data needs of our Tax Department and the demands of a worldwide tax authority’s digitization of tax. The role of the Tax Data Specialist is part of our Poznan Poland Shared Service Centre and will primarily support the data collection activities of the tax function, including optimization of data gathering, design, governance, implementation and roll-out of solutions that support LYB’s tax function. A Day in the Life Support the documentation of the Tax Team’s overall data needs and their interdependencies with other processes and stakeholders. Contribute as a member of the Tax Process & Data Excellence Team, collaborating with Tax Teams to address both recurring and ad hoc data requirements. Through this work, you will help identify gaps and opportunities to implement solutions that respond to evolving legislative requirements and business needs. Assist in analyzing data, automating processes, and integrating systems to enhance operational efficiency. Help develop and provide input into the overarching data management strategy for the Tax Department. You Bring This Value Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS/CIS, Data/Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting data analysis role, demonstrating innovation and efficiency through the standardization of business processes within an organization of similar scale and geographic reach. A background in tax is not required. Strong candidates with the relevant skills from non‑tax backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Ability to work effectively with teams across multiple time zones. Ability to use SAP (or similar ERP systems) to extract data efficiently and support Tax Team processes and deliverables. Experience working with large data sets and combining data from diverse sources, including data extraction and presentation. Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. Interest in exploring and applying AI concepts to enhance business processes and solutions (nice to have). Fluent written and spoken English. Additional languages are an advantage.    Commitment to continuous learning and adoption of new tools, technologies, and methods to drive improvement. Confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and recommend best practices to strengthen data and system workflows. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams and stakeholders to deliver initiatives on time.
