Job Opening: Senior Reinsurance Accountant
An esteemed client in the Insurance industry is currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Reinsurance Accountant to join their finance department. This is a permanent position based in their dynamic and supportive team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and timely processing of reinsurance accounting transactions and related financial statements.
Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures of the reinsurance agreements.
Reconcile reinsurance accounts to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Analyze reinsurance information to detect discrepancies and ensure all practices comply with regulatory and company policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reinsurance reports.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits relevant to reinsurance accounts.
Act as a point of contact and effectively communicate with internal teams and reinsurance companies.
Key Skills:
Solid understanding of reinsurance processes and accounting principles.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing cross-departmental collaboration.
