CoreCivic is currently seeking <strong>Dental Assistants</strong> who have a passion for providing the highest quality care in an institutional setting.</font></span></p><p align="LEFT" dir="LTR"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"></font></span></p><div><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"> </font></span></div><div><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements</font></span></div><ol><li><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Assistant dentist with the treatment of inmates/residents by setting up all instruments for each patient and treatment to be rendered and preparing impressions and filling materials.</span><br></font></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">After each treatment, sterilize the dental unit and instruments used and replace instruments prior to the next patient treatment.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Control medication, syringes and other dental supplies or equipment; inventory as required by established procedures</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Keep equipment and work area clean; utilize appropriate sanitation methods.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Review dental services provided to prevent the inappropriate use or duplication of services.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Review status of inmates/residents for completion of all necessary intervention and treatments and services.</font></span></li></ol><div><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><br></font></span></div></font></span></p><p><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><p><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></font></span></p><ul><li><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent or greater. </span></font></li><li><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">One
year of dental assisting experience is required. </span></font></li><li><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Certificate or evidence of completion of a
dental assistant training program or other requirements that meet the criteria
of the Dental Practice Act in the state of practice, in compliance with contract
or applicable statutes is required. </span></font></li><li><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">A valid driver's license is required. </span></font></li><li><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age. </span></font></li></ul><p><em><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">CoreCivic is a Drug-Free Workplace & EOE including Disability/Veteran.</font></span></em></p></font><br></span></p>
