This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified or fully qualified Accountant who wants more than a desk-based technical role. One team member joined as a trainee and has progressed to managing their own portfolio of clients, with the support and opportunities to build a career they are proud of.</p> <p><b>What you&rsquo;ll be doing:</b></p> <ul> <li>Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients.</li> <li>Providing clear, practical advice that helps clients understand their numbers and make confident decisions.</li> <li>Supporting clients with tax planning, business growth and wider accountancy matters.</li> <li>Reviewing and supporting the work of junior team members.</li> <li>Using accounting software and Microsoft Office to deliver accurate, high-quality work.</li> <li>Acting as a trusted, approachable point of contact for clients.</li> </ul> <p><b>What you&rsquo;ll need:</b></p> <ul> <li>Part-qualified or fully qualified accountancy status, ideally ACCA or AAT.</li> <li>At least three years&rsquo; experience in an accountancy practice.</li> <li>Strong technical accounting knowledge.</li> <li>Confident communication skills and the ability to make financial information clear and engaging.</li> <li>A proactive approach and genuine interest in helping clients succeed.</li> <li>Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Ability to reliably commute to Croydon, CR0 4NG or relocate before starting work.</li> <li>English language skills required for client communication.</li> </ul> <p>This role would suit someone who is technically capable but also naturally confident with people.</p> <p>Our client is looking for someone who can build rapport, hold engaging client conversations and bring a positive, personable approach to accountancy.</p> <p>As part of the application, you&rsquo;ll complete a short online recruitment process which takes approximately 10 minutes.
