IT Manager / Technology Manager

IT Manager / Technology Manager role based in Brockenhurst, New Forest, Hampshire, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time onsite leadership role within a growing technology business.

This role is suited to an experienced IT Manager who enjoys both hands-on infrastructure work and leading a small IT team. You will be responsible for owning the internal IT environment, driving improvements and ensuring systems are secure, scalable and reliable.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day IT operations as well as longer-term infrastructure strategy, working across on-prem and cloud environments. You will lead a small IT team, oversee service delivery, and take ownership of technical decision-making.

Key responsibilities include managing infrastructure across Windows Server, networking, virtualisation and Microsoft 365, driving IT projects and upgrades, overseeing security and compliance, managing incidents and root cause analysis, improving processes and documentation, and supporting cloud migration initiatives.

The successful candidate will bring strong IT infrastructure experience, previous experience managing or leading an IT team, solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking and virtualisation, and the ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities.
