Role Overview
As a Dual Student in Electrical and Information Engineering (m/f/d), you will combine your academic studies at HAW Hamburg or TUHH with practical training at NACOS Marine. You will gain broad exposure to engineering, software, and project-related activities within maritime automation and navigation projects.
Working alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and field service teams, you will contribute to real customer projects while developing a strong technical foundation and practical understanding of complex systems used in modern vessels.
Key Responsibilities
Support engineering activities within ongoing customer and development projects
Assist with electrical and mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Contribute to software engineering tasks using company-specific software solutions
Support process analysis and interface testing for software and automation systems
Assist project managers with planning, coordination, and documentation activities
Support field service activities during commissioning and service assignments
Participate in national and occasional European travel as part of project and service work
Key Requirements
General qualification for university entrance (Abitur)
Enrollment or confirmed admission to the Electrical and Information Engineering dual study program at HAW or TUHH Hamburg (admission-phase ends in July 2026).
Strong interest in electrical engineering, automation, and software systems
Basic technical understanding and willingness to learn complex systems
Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe as required
