About The Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Teacher of Science, to join a dynamic secondary school in Salford from September 2026. This flexible, long-term role is perfect for an enthusiastic educator keen to ignite curiosity and foster a love of science in young minds within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons, with a primary focus on Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
- Inspire students through creative and practical teaching methods
- Track student progress and provide targeted support to maximise achievement
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
- Contribute to departmental development and wider school initiatives
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level, with strong Chemistry knowledge
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- 2 school based references
