Depot Maintenance Engineer Permanent Full Time Bedford – MK43 Salary £37,518 inc standby fee Plus Excellent Package We are working directly with a highly reputable and well known facilities management contractor who specialise in providing all round building maintenance services to clients within the commercial sector. Due to expansion we are looking to recruit a Static maintenance engineer to be based at a commercial distribution centre to look after all site building maintenance and deliver planned and reactive maintenance. This role is multi skilled covering electrical and building maintenance. Role: You will be based on site covering all building maintenance works across this distribution centre and associated buildings/office etc. Carrying out a wide range of electrical maintenance works. PPM and reactive maintenance works. You will ensure that the site is statutorily compliant and accurate records are kept up to date, as well as maintaining a high standard of work by following safe working practices. Person: Facilities maintenance experience Full Valid UK driver’s license "On the job" experience working in a maintenance role Strong communication skills and work ethic Awareness and knowledge of health & safety A recognised apprenticeship or qualification (such as City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ), or significant proven demonstrable experience in mechanical and electrical services. Hold an 18th Edition Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification Technical knowledge and experience of maintenance and repair of a complex working environment including electrical and mechanical equipment whilst complying with all Safety and Environmental standards Package: Base salary £37,518 Permanent full time Working hours Monday - Friday Callout rota 1 in 4 (Access to Company Van when on-call) 33 days annual leave inc bank holidays Life Assurance Pension Health cash plan Genuine progression
