About the Role
FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is a specialist module within Unit4, focused on forecasting, budgeting, planning, analytics, and reporting . It’s often delivered as Unit4 FP&A CPM/BI (Corporate Performance Management / Business Intelligence) and has a very different scope and technical skill set from the core ERP “build” side. By contrast: Finance Build Consultant → usually works on the core finance modules in Unit4 ERP (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.), configuring business processes, workflows, and transactional finance functionality. This is more about record-to-report and day-to-day finance operations. FP&A Principal Consultant → focuses on planning and analysis tooling , working with data models, integrations, ETL, performance dashboards, and advanced reporting. There’s a stronger technical/data engineering element (SQL, ETL tools, integration with other systems) and often closer collaboration with BI/analytics teams. Think of it like: Finance Build = the engine that runs the finance transactions.
