Business Intelligence Analyst

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst . This resource will be working Remotely. Job Description: The Business Intelligence Analyst leads financial analysis, cost modelling, budgeting, and pricing activities across ICT services, cloud platforms, infrastructure programmes, and technology investments. Leveraging strong financial reporting, audit, compliance, and cost-control expertise, the role ensures accurate cost allocation, sustainable pricing structures, and financial transparency for technology operations. Key Responsibilities Technology Cost Modelling & Analysis • Develop and maintain costing models for cloud, infrastructure, applications, and enterprise technology services. • Analyse CapEx and OpEx trends, providing detailed variance insights. • Build unit-cost structures for services including compute, storage, networking, and SaaS. • Conduct scenario modelling and forecasting for technology investments. ICT Financial Governance & Compliance • Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate governance, and internal control frameworks. • Support financial audits with cost evidence, reconciliations, and statements. • Maintain documentation for costing methodologies and approval workflows. Budgeting, Forecasting & Expenditure Control • Lead ICT budgeting cycles, aligning with organisational strategy. • Track multi-year investment pipelines and refresh cost projections. • Monitor cost escalations, recommend cost-efficiency initiatives. • Review tech procurement requests for cost accuracy and financial impact. Pricing & Cost Recovery • Develop cost-recovery and chargeback models for internal service consumption. • Support creation of pricing catalogues for cloud and infrastructure services. • Advise leadership on financial viability of new initiatives and service expansions. Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory • Partner with engineering, finance, procurement, and EA teams to ensure unified financial planning. • Provide data-driven insights to support technology strategy and governance. • Train teams on costing principles, financial controls, and budgeting processes. Required Skills & Experience • Strong background in financial reporting, modelling, analysis, and consolidations. • Experience in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support. • Familiarity with technology environments, cloud finance, or ICT operations preferred. • Advanced proficiency with financial systems and data analysis tools. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. • Professional certifications (CIMA Dip MA, ACCA, etc.) preferred. • 5–7+ years experience in accounting, audit, financial management, or cost analysis. Preferred/Desirable • Experience in FinTech, ICT costing, or digital transformation environments. • Understanding of IFRS 17, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
