Managing Director – BESS Business Unit - BESS / Solar

An international company that is already established in Europe and has a growing number of projects in its pipeline. Backed by an investor with global assets of over $100 billion.
A company focused on project development and execution that will own projects in the next few months and. BESS is currently a major focus of the business, with a growing pipeline of greenfield BESS projects and hybrid projects.
The Role
Reporting directly to investors and board members.
Continue to lead a strong team and implement your own strategy.
Maintain relationships with grid operators, landowners, utilities, investors, etc.
Take responsibility for regional P&L responsibility.
Identify new market opportunities in key regions across Europe.
Ensure effective risk management, compliance, and corporate governance across the business.
The Person
8+ years of experience in renewable energy
BESS/Solar background preferred, but not essential (project development experience required)
MBA, Master’s in Engineering, or similar
Understanding of the project development process
Experience leading teams and the ability to inspire and develop team members
