This role is ideal for hands‑on IT professionals who enjoy structured rollout work, regional travel, and making a direct impact in clinical and corporate environments.<hr /><h2>The Project</h2><ul><li>Deploy 4,800 devices</li><li>Support 100+ sites statewide</li><li>12‑month rollout</li><li>Majority of work concentrated in Tampa and Orlando</li><li>Regional travel throughout Florida as part of a dedicated project team</li></ul><hr /><h2>What You’ll Be Doing</h2>As a PC Field Technician, you’ll support end‑to‑end deployment execution and validation activities.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Deploy laptops, desktops, and endpoint devices at clinical and corporate locations</li><li>Support pilot deployments, full rollouts, and post‑deployment activities</li><li>Remove and properly stage legacy equipment during refresh cycles</li><li>Validate deployments for:<ul><li>Device connectivity</li><li>Correct physical placement</li><li>Full functionality</li></ul></li><li>Follow site‑specific instructions, schedules, and access requirements</li><li>Document issues and deployment activity in ticketing systems</li><li>Escalate technical or program issues through defined paths</li><li>Maintain professionalism in regulated and patient‑facing environments</li><li>Assist with quality assurance checks and site acceptance</li></ul>All work aligns with standardized deployment and quality assurance best practices.<hr /><h2>What We’re Looking For</h2><h3>Required Skills & Experience</h3><ul><li>2–5 years of corporate IT, desktop, or field support experience</li><li>Hands‑on experience deploying Windows 10 PCs and laptops</li><li>Strong working knowledge of:<ul><li>Active Directory</li><li>Office 365 / O365</li></ul></li><li>Experience validating pre‑built system images (no image creation)</li><li>Peripheral setup (monitors, docks, keyboards, mice)</li><li>Basic hardware and connectivity troubleshooting</li><li>Strong documentation and ticketing experience</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills</li></ul><h3>Need to Have</h3><ul><li>Experience supporting structured deployment or refresh projects</li><li>Prior healthcare or regulated environment experience (helpful, not required)</li></ul><hr /><h2>Work Environment & Travel</h2><ul><li>100% onsite, travel‑based role within Florida</li><li>Comfortable working in clinical, healthcare‑adjacent, and office environments</li><li>Able to support high‑volume, repetitive deployments while maintaining accuracy and professionalism</li><li>Adherence to structured processes, readiness gates, and quality standards</li></ul><hr /><h2>Pre‑Employment & Compliance Requirements</h2>Due to work in regulated healthcare environments, candidates must successfully complete:<ul><li>Motor vehicle record (MVR) check</li><li>Background check</li><li>Drug screening</li><li>Medical compliance requirements (per healthcare site standards</li></ul>Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
