Position Overview The Receiving Team Member is responsible for the receiving process including unloading trucks, verifying supplier information, entering into SAP and labeling the material. Quick Summary The person in this role will work in the SAP system to perform transactions for the receipt and storage of material to be used for production. Accuracy of the information input is critical as it is used to update the stock inventory for availability to the production floor and MRP. It is a given that this individual will always strive for improved processes as recommendations for improvements to processes are always desired. Basic Background Requirements This position will require: Interpersonal Skills – detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in their work, self- motivated, team player Technical Skills – SAP navigation and use of transactions to perform the job, understanding of MRP concepts, investigative and problem solving skills, understanding of ESD handling requirements, and forklift operation experience Communication Skills – excellent listening skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills Leadership Skills – ability to adapt to change, ability to organize and prioritize, and decision making when applicable Key Performance Objectives Short Term: (0 to 6 months) Learn the various processes required for the position, including SAP training Develop a good rapport with fellow workers and internal customers Midterm: (6 to 18 months) Assist with improvement initiatives Assist with improving department metrics Ability to train new hires Don’t meet every single requirement?
