iOS App Developer – Scarborough, UK Location: Scarborough, free parking available. Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and skillset About the Company We are working with a leading UK retailer, shipping to over 120 countries via multiple custom-built websites and apps. Success is driven by keeping control within in-house teams, delivering a seamless, customer-focused online experience, supported by a small number of specialist partners. Role Overview We are seeking a talented iOS App Developer to join our web development team. You will work alongside the Senior App Developer and report to the Head of Development to design, deliver, and maintain the company’s customer-facing iOS app. This is an office-based role, ideal for a developer passionate about eCommerce, app design, and improving the customer experience. Key Responsibilities Collaboratively agree on the look and feel of the app, aligned with brand and website guidelines. Continue to evolve the iOS eCommerce app, maintaining growth in line with app and eCommerce best practice. Enable key 3rd party partners via the app, adding new functionality and accommodating new partners as needed. Stay up to date with core iOS updates, ensuring usability and functionality are maintained. Skills & Experience Strong experience developing dynamic eCommerce apps using Swift, ideally in retail. A keen eye for design, with the ability to positively impact customer experience. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and XML data connections. Experience implementing unit testing processes. Relevant degree or professional qualification preferred but not essential. Personal Attributes Passionate and proactive about app design, consistency, and attention to detail. Flexible and able to manage a high volume of priority tasks in a fast-paced environment. Forward-thinking and confident in raising potential issues to the team.
