Salary: £150 to £220 per day (depending on experience & specialism)

GSL Education are looking for dynamic, dedicated Secondary Teacher to join supportive and forward-thinking school across Newcastle. Whether you specialise in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, or any other subject, we want to match you with a role that suits your strengths.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Secondary Teacher:
Delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5 where applicable)
Supporting students’ academic progress, confidence, and subject understanding
Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Managing behaviour confidently and fairly
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
What We’re Looking for in a Secondary Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your subject area
Great communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
A proactive, adaptable, and dedicated approach to teaching
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
