HGV Drivers Class 1 & 2 (CAT C & E) - Crawley

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Shift:

Class 1 and Class 2 available

• Days - Sunday 4am / Sunday 14:00pm (Part time)
• Nights - Shifts across Sunday to Saturday - 23:59pm - 01:00am Starts (Full time or part time)

Pay Rate:

Nights

Class 2:

• £18.03 per hour PAYE

Class 1:

• £18.55 per hour PAYE

Days

Class 2:

• £16.10 per hour PAYE

Class 1:

• £17.08 per hour PAYE

Location: Crawley RH10

Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent

The role:

· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

· Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

· Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

. Experience would be preferred but new passes will be considered

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 / Class 1 entitlement

· Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.
