About the Role

This role is responsible for accurate payroll processing, labor and cost compliance, and coordination across HR, Accounting, and Program Management. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with <b>Deltek Costpoint (labor processing)</b> and <b>ADP</b>, and thrives in a complex, compliance-driven environment.</span></span></span><br />

<span><span><span><b>Key Responsibilities</b></span></span></span>
<ul>
<li><span><span><span><span>Process and administer <b>biweekly payroll</b> for up to <b>1,500 active employees</b>, recognizing that not all employees are paid each pay period</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Review, validate, and process <b>labor transactions in Deltek Costpoint</b>, ensuring alignment with government contracting requirements</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Ensure accurate payroll feeds and integrations between <b>Costpoint and ADP</b></span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Audit timekeeping, labor distributions, and payroll data for accuracy and compliance</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including <b>government contract labor regulations</b> (e.g., cost accounting standards, audit readiness)</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Reconcile payroll reports, tax filings, deductions, and benefit-related payroll entries</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Partner with HR, Finance, and Program Teams to resolve payroll and labor-related issues</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Respond to employee payroll inquiries with a strong focus on confidentiality and customer service</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Assist with audits (internal and external), including DCAA audits when applicable</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Maintain payroll documentation, SOPs, and process improvements</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Support year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation</span></span></span></span></li>
</ul>
<span><span><span><b>Required Qualifications</b></span></span></span>
<ul>
<li><span><span><span><span><b>3+ years of payroll administration experience</b>, preferably within a <b>government contracting environment</b></span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span><b>Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint</b>, specifically <b>labor processing and timekeeping</b></span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span><b>ADP payroll experience</b> (Workforce Now or similar ADP platforms)</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Experience supporting <b>mid-to-large employee populations</b> (1,000+ employees preferred)</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, multi-state payroll, and wage & hour regulations</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills</span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span><span><span><span>Ability to manage sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality</span></span></span></span></li>
