Senior Backend Engineer - PHP/Laravel
Pay: $50 - $75 per hour
Location: Hybrid (Remote/In-office)

Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Proven leadership experience as a tech lead or senior lead
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
- Extensive AWS production environment experience
- Proficiency with MySQL and JSON APIs
- Ability to plan carefully, communicate effectively, and deliver on deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the backend architecture of the fitness platform
- Lead backend development projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Ensure the backend services are reliable, scalable, and performant
- Collaborate on API development to support mobile and web functionalities
- Optimize database queries and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Write clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices
- Participate in code reviews and mentorship of junior team members
