Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Primary Care (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Multiple locations (floating to nearby clinics as needed)
Schedule: 32–40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $74.87/hour
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, evidence-based primary and family care in a collaborative clinical environment. This role involves working closely with a clinical care team to improve patient outcomes through comprehensive care delivery and patient engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and family care, including:
    • Patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
    • Management of acute and chronic conditions
    • Health counseling and preventative care
    • Disposition planning
  • Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans
  • Promote patient engagement in health and wellness programs
  • Manage clinic operations, including:
    • Opening/closing clinic
    • Inventory management
    • Patient follow-up
    • Insurance verification and payment collection
    • Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment

 

Schedule & Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Includes every other weekend and possible holiday rotations

 

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current National Board Certification
  • Active State NP license in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience (preferred)
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Ability to practice autonomously and collaborate within a team
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with healthcare technology and EMR systems
  • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure

 

Additional Requirements

  • DEA registration required during onboarding (if not already obtained)
  • Ability to float to nearby clinic locations
  • Comfortable working in a safety-sensitive environment
