<p><strong>Location:</strong> Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite)</p>

<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>We’re looking for a <strong>strong DevOps Engineer / Lead Cloud Engineer</strong> who can take ownership of our cloud platform, engineering standards, and deployment practices as we continue to scale a cloud‑native environment.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes cloud engineering, infrastructure‑as‑code, automation, and DevOps culture. We are <strong>90-95% cloud-based</strong>, with Azure as our primary platform – and AWS experience is a strong bonus.</p>
<p>You’ll design and maintain guardrails, build CI/CD pipelines, shape our cloud architecture, and ensure our engineering teams follow best practice across reliability, automation, security, and observability.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Work On</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Designing and maintaining <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> across cloud services</li>
<li>Building reusable <strong>Terraform</strong> modules and infrastructure‑as‑code standards</li>
<li>Implementing guardrails, policies, and cloud governance frameworks</li>
<li>Supporting SRE practices: reliability, monitoring, metrics, automation</li>
<li>Working across engineering teams to define and maintain cloud architecture</li>
<li>Deploying and maintaining Kubernetes‑based workloads (containerisation focus)</li>
<li>Improving platform resilience, availability, and scalability</li>
<li>Ensuring best practice across DevOps, cloud operations, IaC, and automation</li>
<li>Working closely with product, infrastructure, engineering and security teams</li>

<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<p><strong>Must‑Haves</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong experience as a <strong>DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer</strong></li>
<li>Deep hands‑on capability with <strong>Azure</strong> (primary environment)</li>
<li>Strong experience designing/implementing <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong></li>
<li>Excellent Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience, preferably <strong>Terraform</strong></li>
<li>Understanding of cloud <strong>architecture</strong>, patterns, and best practice</li>
<li>Experience setting up <strong>guardrails</strong>, policies, governance and controls</li>
<li>Containerisation experience with <strong>Kubernetes</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice-to-Have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Exposure to <strong>AWS</strong></li>
<li>SRE background: SLIs, SLOs, automation, observability</li>
<li>Experience standardising cloud estates at scale</li>
<li>Ability to influence teams and lead cloud direction</li>
