In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals and families, ensuring they receive the appropriate support and services. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to develop tailored care plans that promote well-being and safeguard vulnerable populations.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks.
Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
Providing support and guidance to clients, empowering them to make informed decisions.
Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, excellent assessment and analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures. Experience in a similar role within a statutory setting is highly desirable.
