Immediate Opening! Accounts Receivable/ Accounting Associate
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Schedule: Fully onsite
Compensation: $22–$25 per hour
Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable/ Accounting Associate supports the Finance Department with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable and General Accounting functions. This role is responsible for accurate financial data entry, reconciliations, reporting, and maintaining accounting records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy data entry of journal entries into the general ledger with a high level of accuracy
- Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivable control accounts and aging reports
- Reconcile cash receipts and ensure timely and accurate posting
- Assist with coding receipts and related transactions into the general ledger
- Create and maintain customer invoices and billing records, including 1099-related invoices for reporting purposes
- Maintain fixed asset detail records and assist with account analysis as assigned
- Assist with preparation of financial reports and schedules using Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Utilize Excel to support reconciliations, reporting, data validation, and trend analysis
- File and maintain financial records, reports, and supporting documentation
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent math and data accuracy skills
- Proven ability to perform high-volume journal entry and financial data entry
- Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., formulas, sorting, filtering, basic pivot tables)
- Experience using or ability to learn Microsoft Dynamics 365 for financial reporting
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, with an emphasis on Accounts Receivable highly preferred
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience in a public assembly or event-driven environment a plus
