Children's SW - Family Support & Safeguarding Team - Conwy

As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
• Providing direct support and intervention to families, ensuring a child-centered approach.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive case records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Care Wales as a qualified social worker.
• Experience working within child protection and safeguarding frameworks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
