Surface Inspection SME Surface Inspection SME Back to list Apply Maintenance 49203 United States, Alabama, Muscle Shoals Remote Position:  No September 5th, 2025 Internship:  No Apprenticeship:  No   Job Summary: The Surface Inspection SME will be responsible for the sitewide surface defect inspection equipment.   Responsibilities:   Technical resource across all APUs. Vendor follow-up for correction of system issues. APU Technician & PWAT training. Develop delay data targeting problem areas for correction. Assist APUs in developing PMs & Procedures. Audit warehouse spares and engage Procurement. Participate in APU 8D Process to prevent future delays.   Qualifications: EE, AE, IT, Level 4 ET or Level 3 PWAT. Experience in troubleshooting SIS systems. Familiar with APU Maintenance & Reliability practices. Familiar with MS Office (Excel & PPT) Familiar with the creation of PMs & Procedures Ability to work across teams. Candidate will be trained for SIS. Candidate will be trained on thickness gauges but will not be primary focus.
