On behalf of NRS, we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical for a 12 month hybrid contract based in Malton. As a Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical, your main responsibilities will be: Identify project functional requirements and stakeholder needs for assigned project. Manage engineering support to the project. Contribute to production of Project Execution Plans including design, safety case and commissioning strategies. Support project optioneering process. Develop concept design and fit for purpose engineering solution for projects. Produce and/or approve project technical specifications. Essential: Significant experience in a practising disciplined Mechanical Engineering role on industrial plant. Significant experience of nuclear and/or conventional project engineering. Possession of an HNC (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, supported by strong technical competencies. In‑depth knowledge of applicable company engineering procedures and relevant national engineering standards. Practical understanding of Safety Rules and proficient application of risk assessment methodologies. Demonstrated capability in effectively managing and overseeing supply chain activities.
