<p><strong>Accounts &amp; Audit Semi-Senior – Northamptonshire | £32K – £38K</strong></p> <p>A great opportunity for an Accounts &amp; Audit Semi-Senior to join a respected sole practitioner firm in Northamptonshire. This position is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their audit skills while gaining broad experience across accounts and tax in a supportive, small-firm environment.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Working closely with the firm’s principal, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of assignments, including:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting with audit fieldwork and preparing working paper files</li> <li>Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and LLPs</li> <li>Supporting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance</li> <li>Carrying out bookkeeping, VAT and related practice tasks</li> <li>Handling client queries and building strong working relationships</li> </ul> <p>This role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to develop rounded experience that larger firms often struggle to provide.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To succeed in this role, you will have:</p> <ul> <li>Audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice</li> <li>ACCA / ACA part-qualified status (or equivalent experience)</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning</li> <li>Good communication skills and confidence working directly with clients</li> </ul> <p><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Salary between £32,000 and £38,000 (depending on experience)</li> <li>Full study support where required</li> <li>One-on-one mentorship from an experienced practitioner</li> <li>Exposure to a varied client base across multiple sectors</li> <li>Clear potential to progress into a senior position as your experience grows</li> </ul>
