Year 2/3 Teacher Leeds

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Year 2/3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the LS28 area of Leeds from September 2026. This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £160–£200, depending on experience. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a mixed Year 2/3 class, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through the important transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 2/3 curriculum, meeting the needs of mixed-age learners.
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure positive academic outcomes.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within KS1 and/or lower KS2.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate learning effectively.
• A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to teaching.
