We do what we say we do and if you align with this approach, then</p><p class="MsoNormal">Storal is the place for you.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">Coordinate and schedule the maintenance and facilities operations for our network of</p><p class="MsoNormal">childcare nurseries across England to ensure all sites are safe, compliant, and well maintained to provide an optimal environment for children and staff.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">Facility Management</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Deliver the comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all nursery sites</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Coordinate routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance across multiple locations</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Support activity that ensures all facilities meet health, safety, and regulatory</p><p class="MsoNormal">standards for nursery environments</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Team Leadership</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">- Direct and coordinate field-based regional maintenance staff and caretakers</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Coordinate with nursery managers to address maintenance needs promptly</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Develop and maintain relationships with approved contractors and service</p><p class="MsoNormal">providers</p><p class="MsoNormal">Budget and Resource Management</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Deliver works in line with the annual maintenance budget for all sites</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Observe spending patterns and implement cost-saving measures where</p><p class="MsoNormal">appropriate</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Coordinate the scheduling, procurement, and delivery of key resources for all sites</p><p class="MsoNormal">relating to compliance works.</p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Health and Safety</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">- Ensure all sites comply with relevant health and safety regulations</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Develop and maintain a centralised system for tracking maintenance requests and</p><p class="MsoNormal">completions</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Collaborate with regional operations managers to minimise disruptions to daily</p><p class="MsoNormal">operations</p><p class="MsoNormal">Knowledge and Skills:</p><p class="MsoNormal">Essential Desirable</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management,</p><p class="MsoNormal">preferably in a multi-site environment</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Strong knowledge of building systems, health and safety</p><p class="MsoNormal">regulations, and childcare facility requirements</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Excellent project management and organizational skills x</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft</p><p class="MsoNormal">Office suite</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to sites</p><p class="MsoNormal">across England</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Strong leadership and team management abilities x</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills x</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects</p><p class="MsoNormal">simultaneously</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal x</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety x</p><p class="MsoNormal">- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and</p><p class="MsoNormal">emergencies</p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Any offer of employment and continuing employment with Storal is subject always to the</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>following conditions:</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">1. Clear enhanced DBS;</p><p class="MsoNormal">2. Satisfactory references covering the last 5 years of employment and any gaps in</p><p class="MsoNormal">employment;</p><p class="MsoNormal">3. Provision of original documentary evidence verifying your continued ability to</p><p class="MsoNormal">undertake paid employment within the UK;</p><p class="MsoNormal">4. Satisfactory Health Declaration Form verifying your suitability to carry out your duties in</p><p class="MsoNormal">an acceptable manner;</p><p class="MsoNormal">5. Satisfactory Suitability Questionnaire demonstrating that you are suitable to work with</p><p class="MsoNormal">children;</p><p class="MsoNormal">6. Certificate of Good Conduct if you have lived or worked abroad for 6 months or more</p><p class="MsoNormal">in the last 5 years.</p>
