Our mission is to deliver proactive, personalized, and holistic patient care and coaching by acting on health data and insights to improve the overall health and wellness of our clients’ employees, and those they care about most, by providing access to high quality, affordable services where they work and live.Evernorth Workplace Care - Personalized Care Where You AreThe experienced MA provides front and back-office assistance to the providers in the preparation for, examination and treatment of patients, and is a critical partner in our Worksite-based Health Centers.<ul><li>Greet and check in patients at the health care centers by verifying coverage and eligibility and completing appropriate paperwork.</li><li>Obtains the patient history, takes vital signs, and assists with coordination of care.</li><li>Administers medications</li><li>Preparing the examination room</li><li>Cleans and sterilizes instrument per protocol</li><li>Answer telephone in compliance with departmental procedures. Ascertain the nature of call and route appropriately. If necessary, take accurate and legible messages.</li><li>Schedule appointments and verify membership according to various benefit coverage</li><li>Reviews preprinted instruction sheets with patients</li><li>Attends department Staff Meetings and In-service programs</li><li>Cross trains to new procedures and departments.</li><li>Assists in orienting new employees and temporary pool staff to job responsibilities.</li></ul>What we expect from you:<ul><li>Graduate of approved MA program OR on the job training with CCMA prior to hire</li><li>Current BCLS required</li><li>At least 1 or more years of front and back-office experience</li><li>Phlebotomy skills</li><li>Solid Computer skills including Electronic Health Records</li><li>Excellent customer service skills required</li><li>Team oriented</li><li>Strong time management skills</li><li>Responsible and reliable</li><li>Ability to work clinic hours</li></ul>Bonus points for:<ul><li>CMA or RMA Certification</li><li>Phlebotomy Certification</li><li>EKG Certification</li><li>EPIC experience</li><li>Customer-centric Focus</li><li>Dynamic personality</li></ul>Please note, this role is based full-time in our health center.We offer benefit eligibility from the first day of employment, Paid Time Off, Short and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401k with company match, Continuing Education, Career Development and a variety of other perks.
